names and contracts
In life, it always amazed me that the primary sin-issue a person was dealing with always seemed to
be the lie enmeshed in the meaning of their name. Once you actualize your identity, your eternal
image, and the reflection of who you are in Christ, the next step would be to understanding how you
unwittingly have allowed yourself to be in a war that you have already won regarding the contract of
your name. I will be vulnerable here and share my story.
Did you know that you made a covenant with YHWH about your name before you even entered this
world? “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the
womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee.” Jeremiah 1:5. The word “knew” comes from the
Hebrew word Yada’ which has various meanings. But the one I appreciate the most is that “know”
(yada’) means “to enter into covenant together” (in our member section we will witness firsthand
how the Lord Paints His Message through the gematria of the Hebrew language). This word has
been scattered throughout the bible and was first mentioned in the Abrahamic Covenant. However,
how much more important is the covenant you took in heaven before you even arrived on Earth? It
is no wonder that the enemy wants to steal your identity at such a soul level. We, myself included,
don’t even realize that we are operating in a constant battle for our eternal image. The solution is
easy, we simply need to take a deep dive into our name to decide who we really are at a spirit-soul
level and walk according to that Character!

To give you a little glimpse of what will be in the following Gates I am going to share the details
of my name contract. My name is Mandy, and in Greek, that means worthy of love. I was at the gym
about to work out with a friend when she asked me if I knew the meaning of my name. I hadn’t even
bothered to look it up, despite all the time I had invested in my children. When she told me its
meaning it hit me like a ton of bricks!

I was 40 then and my entire life had been devoted to one thing: Success! I found my identity in
doing. I found my control in accumulating physical and emotional trophies. I had never for one
minute realized that the will of YHWH for my life was purely to be loved. BE loved and BE worthy of
love. Not be worthy of love for doing or achieving but being steeped enough in His identity for me to
simply drop all worldly accomplishments in exchange for a real relationship with him.
Today I challenge you to dive deeper. Firstly, find out the meaning of your name and delve into
the eternal covenant you made with your Creator-Ya. Once you find that golden nugget, your entire
perspective on your life will shift to that reflection in the mirror, the likeness of Christ, and the
eternal image you were destined to live on earth as it is in heaven. ACTIVATE NOW!
"But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
