WHAT IF YOU ALREADY HAD THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM FOR YOUR INNER HEALING?

I just returned home from a trip to Rome. Besides Jerusalem, this has been one of my bucket list trips. My catholic upbringing, being schooled at a convent, and my family having a vested interest in the Sr’s of Mercy, always had constant referrals back to the Vatican City. I am excited to report that my wildest expectations were superseded by the abounding physical exhibition of both historical and spiritual evidence for your immediate healing.

In my childhood exposure to the spiritual realm was highly limited. So, the timing of this trip was perfect in terms of my spiritual growth and consciousness. Funnily enough, the experience I’m going to tell you about has nothing to do with all the pomp and ceremony surrounding the Vatican, the Colosseum, or any of those monumental sites. Instead, I am going to draw your attention to a part of Rome that is completely understated. But then, that is the understated God we serve, what else would we expect?

The site was Castle D’Angelo’s bridge. The most exposure this bridge has to tourists is that it is one of the entrances to the Vatican City. It is adorned with 10, 20 ft angels, 5 on either side of the bridge. They are Bernini’s angels: each depicting one of the stations of the cross. For those of you that aren’t familiar with the Stations, it is the story of the crucifixion and each event that our Savior underwent to pay the price for our eternal freedom. For example, one angel has a cat-with-nine-tails to remind us of how “by his stripes, we are healed” Isaiah 53:5 and so the stations continue.

The artistic grandeur is beyond explanation, Bernini sculpts these marble rocks to make the angels truly look like they are flying. But the point of this blog is to find out the KEY to the Kingdom that was revealed to me through this overlooked treasure. Was Bernini showing us that the crucifixion in fact was part of the plan of Heaven? Were the angels essentially commissioned to fulfill Our Savior’s treacherous stations of the cross? Did these heavenly hosts hold the key to His future victory for humanity?

The answer to these questions is a resounding YES! To me, this explanation was life-changing. It made me realize that any negative situation could be interpreted as part of YHWH’s plan to push us through our adversity into Glory! As I put my foot on that bridge, the sky opened and I heard the angels singing. I now realize the singing was showing us that although Christ's crucifixion literally rocked the world, the bridge was the glorious birthing process to rip the veil! The bridge represented the heavenly birthing canal, orchestrated by heaven, to deliver the children of the second Adam.

The final angel on the top of the Castle is Michael slaying a demon. It is said that he literally appeared there to stop a plague that was about to devastate the city in 1536. As a result a life size statue was constructed in memory of the arch angel Michael. This was the culmination of my interpretation of the heavenly birthing bridge, this was the Key to the Kingdom! The war is already won! The battle may seem lost when walking the bridge but the war is already won! Push through the birth pangs, your victory is at hand. As depicted by the Bernini's angels and Archangel Michael the short-term pain will result in your long-term healing.

Our darling Jeshua, thank you for enduring the stations of the cross in obedience to Our Father. Thank you for considering it all joy simply to save my soul! We give you all the praise, and honor today as we embark on our mission. Help us to realize that nothing is lost when we walk in your victory, despite the current circumstances. Thank you for resetting our neural pathways for a complete understanding of your love for us, despite what we are going through now. We love and adore you Mighty Savior!
