I want this Gate to be one of encouragement for you who are going through the dark night of the

soul. The Lord completely recognizes where you are in your process. The mere fact that you have

gotten this far in the website shows your dedication to Him. Not only does He recognize you but you

cannot be doing the work on this site without getting closer to Him. This is where we differentiate

ourselves from the New Agers because we are not going through self-improvement to have a better

life but using self-help to increase our inner healing, to draw closer to YHWH, and in turn, heal

humanity.

 

In this process, as your soul starts to gravitate towards your spirit in obedience to Christ, your

spirit is allowed to be heightened. It is YHWH’s guarantee that your spiritual growth will bring you

So here is a quick story about how this manifested in my life. I was in the grocery store on a fast

– yip, it was exceptionally tempting, but such is the life of a dedicated mom. How I found myself in

the candy isle I will never know but what happened next was nothing short of miraculous. I was

tossing myself back and forth between buying a slab of chocolate and breaking the fast or staying

under contract when…….

Unexpectedly, I started feeling what felt like the consistency of honey running down the back of

my throat. No, it was not a postnasal drip! In fact, the taste was nothing less than heavenly, I still to

this day cannot explain what I tasted. Think of a combination of less sweet honey and caramel with

galactic bursts of love in every drop! All I am saying is when you are least expecting it, He will

surprise you. For me, it was that starburst from heaven that jolted me back to the physical reality of

my relationship with the Lord. For someone else it may be bumping into a long-lost friend on the

same aisle. Or purely calling out to YHWH and losing those pangs of hunger. Whatever it is, try and

enjoy the journey and stick to the narrow road because once you reach that threshold, YOUR
